Bell is a telematics only car insurance provider, suitable for inexperienced and / or first time drivers, they offer black box insurance.
Black box insurance will allow drivers who prioritise safe driving to reduce their insurance premium. A black box is a device that collects data, it’s fitted to your car and will monitor your driving behaviour.
This may be especially useful for inexperienced or young drivers. Unlike most insurers, you only require the black box for 3 months. If you are able to prove to Bell that you are a safe driver, you may unplug and remove the black box from your vehicle.
They will rate you as either a bronze, silver or gold driver. The feedback provided by Bell Insurance can give you a further discount after this 3 month period. Here are a few different things the black box will monitor:

If you wish to cancel your policy, you must contact Bell directly. If you cancel your policy within the first 14 days after the start of a new policy, Bell will charge to cover the costs of setting up your policy and arranging for it to be cancelled.
The above will apply even if you cancel before the cover begins.
If you cancel your Bell insurance policy after the 14 day cooling off period, but before it’s due to end, Bell will still charge you for setup and cancellation costs. Bell will also charge you for the period of cover used. If you have made a claim, the full yearly premium will be due.
